A wonderful former manager taught me the saying “feedback is a gift - and like any gift, I can choose whether or not to accept it”.

Spot on! Always says so much about the person giving the so-called feedback. And I love all your lives btw, they are the most cheering, cosy and relaxing thing. I think you are amazing to spend so much time and energy on them several times a week - and I always learn something new! (I too burned my pregnancy clothes!!!)

That DM tho - how rude!! We often get people standing outside discussing our refurbishment of the cottage. And sometimes when we pop out they’ll be there and say things like ‘oh it’s lovely.. but such a shame about the windows…’ (they’re black - like they would have been 400 years ago). And I want to rage that we’ve nearly bankrupted ourselves and restored it from literally crumbling and you hate the fkn WINDOWS?!!!’ And from now on I’ll remember this post! ☺️
